STEP 1: Visit the EIL website: www.engineersindia.com and go to the Careers link.
STEP 2: Read all instructions carefully.
STEP 3: Fill in the online application form with all correct details.
Note on Percentage Calculation:
- Round off percentage marks to the lower whole number (e.g., 60.9 = 60).
- Round off CGPA to the lower decimal (e.g., 6.95 = 6.9).
STEP 4: Upload scanned copies of:
- Latest Passport size colour photograph (.jpg/.jpeg – max 75 KB)
- Signature (.jpg/.jpeg – max 25 KB)
STEP 5: After submission, take a printout of the application form (6 copies), affix a colour photograph, and bring them to the Walk-in Interview.
STEP 6: Report to the designated venue on the scheduled date and time with all original documents and self-attested photocopies.

EIL 2026 Recruitment– Documents Required
The candidates shortlisted on the basis of written examination shall have to appear for Skill Test (Computer Proficiency test). Candidates need to bring original documents for verification on the day of skill test.
The Skill Test (Paper–II) (20 Marks) shall be of practical nature and shall assess Assamese or Bengali Unicode typing, Basic computer operations, Document preparation and formatting, Data entry, file handling, and printing.
