Gauhati University, Department of Zoology invites applications for the following project positions on a purely temporary basis under the research/monitoring project titled “Aquatic Ecology Monitoring at Brahmaputra Bridge Construction site with special emphasis on Migratory Birds, Turtle, Fishes and Ganges River Dolphin Population & Habitat Monitoring along with Conservation Awareness of Fringe Area Population”. The project is funded by PWD, Govt. of Assam for the “Construction of 4-Lane Extra Dosed PSC Bridge over River Brahmaputra connecting Palashbari and Sualkuchi including viaduct and approach road, River Training Works on EPC mode”.
