Computer Skills Required

Key Job Responsibilities

1. Provide technical inputs on environmental aspects of AIIB funded project interventions.
2. Advise and assist AEGCL in mitigating environmental issues as per ESS-1, ESS-2 and ESS-3 safeguard policies of AIIB, Govt. of Assam and Govt. of India norms.
3. Review the ESMPF report to understand background, environmental issues, mitigation and monitoring requirements.
4. Review & preparation of Contractor’s Environmental and Social Management Plan (CESMP) for sub-projects.
5. Review & preparation of ESIA-ESMP reports for SS & TL infrastructure projects.
6. Undertake site visits to supervise implementation of Environmental and Social Management Framework.
7. Monitor daily progress of Environmental Expert of Project Management Consultant (PMC).
8. Revise and submit MPR, QPR, Bi-Annual E&S Monitoring Report, Site specific HSE&MP, Biodiversity Management Plan, Forest Clearances, Statutory clearances, Field visit reports, Training Module to AIIB.
9. Monitor Environmental Quality Monitoring Test (EQMT) – Ambient Air, Water, Noise and Soil testing.
10. Monitor and implement Grievance Redressal Mechanism (GRM) as per AIIB framework.
11. Monitor Transmission Line ROW related issues in coordination with PIU/EPC.
12. Other Non-Project/Non-EAP related activities assigned by Project Director.
13. Overall management of project related activities and coordination with Bank Mission Program.
