Essential Qualification:
- 10+2 (Science preferred) with Diploma in Endoscopy Technology / Operation Theatre Technology (BAOTT/MAOTT) / Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT/BMLT)
- OR an equivalent allied-health qualification from a recognized institution
Desirable Qualification:
- SGEI-WEO Certified GI Technician qualification or equivalent society-recognized endoscopy certification
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)

- Assisting gastroenterologists during diagnostic and therapeutic GI endoscopic procedures, including Upper GI Endoscopy, Colonoscopy, ERCP, and EUS
- Preparing patients, procedure rooms, equipment, and accessories for endoscopic procedures
- Performing cleaning, high-level disinfection, storage, and routine maintenance of endoscopes and accessories
- Maintaining inventory, procedure records, equipment logs, and reprocessing documentation
- Ensuring compliance with infection control, biomedical waste management, patient safety, and hospital protocols
- Assisting in emergency endoscopic procedures and supporting departmental quality improvement initiatives
