The upper age limit for applicants will be determined as on the closing date of application, i.e., 27 July 2026. The category-wise age relaxation is as follows:

Mode of Payment

- Out of these four publications, at least two must have been published during the tenure as Associate Professor.

ESIC Teaching Faculty Recruitment 2026– Salary Details
Candidates appointed as Professor under the ESIC Teaching Faculty Recruitment 2026 will be placed in Pay Level-13 of the Central Government Pay Matrix, with a salary ranging from ₹1,23,100 to ₹2,15,900 per month.

ESIC Teaching Faculty Recruitment 2026– Selection Process
The ESIC Professor Recruitment 2026 selection process is based entirely on a personal interview conducted by the Selection Board. There is no written examination for this recruitment. Eligible candidates will be shortlisted based on their qualifications and teaching experience before being invited for the interview.

In the event of two or more candidates securing the same interview marks, the merit will be decided in the following order:
- The older candidate will be placed higher in merit.
- If the tie still persists, preference will be given to the candidate who obtained the essential postgraduate qualification earlier.
- If required, the candidate who completed the compulsory internship earlier will be ranked higher.
Reserve List and Probation
- ESIC may prepare a Reserve List in accordance with the applicable UPSC guidelines.
