Position 1: Assistant Professor – Law and Public Policy

Educational Qualification

Essential (Eligibility A or B):

A. i. Master’s degree with 55% marks (or equivalent grade) in Law from a recognized university.
ii. Must have cleared NET conducted by UGC/CSIR or similar test accredited by UGC (SLET/SET) OR awarded Ph.D. as per UGC Regulations 2009/2016 (exempted from NET).

OR

B. Ph.D. degree from a foreign university/institution with a ranking among the top 500 in World University Ranking (QS / THE / ARWU).

Desirable Qualification
  • Ph.D. in Law with interdisciplinary academic background (engineering, technology, social sciences, or allied fields).
  • Expertise in Artificial Intelligence and law, data protection, cyber governance, and technology policy.
  • Teaching experience at UG/PG level in law or public policy programmes.
  • Research publications in peer-reviewed journals.
  • Experience in supervising PG dissertations and/or doctoral research.
  • Professional experience as an advocate, or engagement with courts, regulatory bodies, government institutions, or civil society organizations.
Job Description
  • Offer courses as per Institute norms.
  • Assist in academic and programme administration (seminars, workshops, research coordination, student mentoring).
  • Work in interdisciplinary academic environments.
  • Based out of both Hyderabad and Mumbai campuses (at least one semester in Mumbai).
