CAU Imphal Teaching Recruitment 2026 – Important Instructions
- Application Form: Available on the University website: www.cau.ac.in. Online submission is mandatory.
- Incomplete Applications: Applications that are incomplete, not on the prescribed form, received after the due date, or without the prescribed application fee shall not be considered.
- Separate Applications: Separate application form and fee should be submitted for applying to different posts and categories.
- Reservation: 4% of the posts are reserved for Physically Challenged candidates as per rules.
- Ph.D. Experience: Period of Ph.D. research work will not be counted as experience for minimum qualification.
- NOC Required: Candidates already in service should upload a copy of NOC from their employer.
- Shortlisting: Only shortlisted candidates based on their academic and career performance will be called for interview.
- Selection Process: May be by presentation / seminar / interview or a combination thereof.
- Superannuation Age: 65 years for Faculties in CAU, Imphal.
- NPS: University employees are covered under the ‘National Pension Scheme (NPS)’.
- Polygamy Disqualification: Persons who have entered into contract marriage with a person having a spouse living are not eligible.
- Foreign Ph.D.: Candidates with Ph.D. from foreign universities must enclose “Equivalence Certificate” issued by the Association of Indian Universities, New Delhi (exempted for MHRD foreign scholarship nominees).
- Document Verification: Candidates shall have to produce original documents at the time of appearing in interview.
- Jurisdiction: The jurisdiction for all disputes/legal matters will be confined to the Court of Manipur.
- Liable for Posting: Candidate is liable to serve in any of the colleges under the control of the university.
- Police Verification: Appointment subject to satisfactory police verification report.
